A strange start to the evening, as the Andy C Gig Bus pulled in to the Half Brick Worthing, to be greeted by a board outside saying “Tonight Live - The Desperate Dan Band". “bugger” thought the East – “double booked”.
As it transpires Desperate Dan was the landlord who was playing in the bar while The Price had the function room at the back.
After The Price set up and ran through a few numbers Dan and his band took their gear through and introductions were made. It appeared that their drummer was Justin Hildreth who played with The Roogaltor amongst others.Paul was most pleased.
Anyway the gig started at just after nine and finished about an hour and a half later. The full set list will appear here after the 29th, as I don't want to spoil any surprises.
Suffice to say that by the end, girls were dancing and couples were waltzing down the front, both things unheard of at Price Gigs.
